Scope:
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and driven Mechanical Engineering Intern ready to dive into the world of industrial engineering. As an integral part of our team, you’ll be instrumental in designing and implementing new processes, jigs, fixtures, and stillages, pushing the boundaries of innovation in our field. The responsibilities encompass a spectrum of projects, from the design of simple jigs to the creation of comprehensive processes and machinery.

Job Overview:

Key Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Designing jigs and fixtures to optimize manufacturing processes. Developing designs for stillages to enhance material handling efficiency. Implementing new processes to improve productivity and quality. Managing contractors involved in project execution. Assisting engineers with various tasks to support project objectives.

Relevant Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Essential:

Currently pursuing an engineering-based degree with at least three A levels and working towards a 2:2 classification. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Effective communication skills. Analytical and logical thinking abilities. Project management skills.

Desirable:

Proficiency in CAD design. Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in mechanical engineering.
