Position: Assembler I Location: Walton KY41094 Duration: 6 Months Job type: Contract Work Type: OnsiteShift: 12 hrsshift(6PM6AM) Job Description: Performs a range of skilled repetitive assembly andcleaning operations to produce quality products in a timely manner;performs operations from work instructions. Duties:
  • Performs a range of skilledrepetitive mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operationsin support of production projects
  • Assembles modifies reworks and/or reassemblesproduction components utilizing drawings pick tickets processdocumentation and/or verbal instructions
  • Prepares and utilizes basic hand tools andmachines including but not limited to power screwdriver rulersolder iron clamp machine heat gun vise solder pots crimperspinning machine and automatic wire stripers
  • Cleans parts prior to production use asrequired
  • Identifieswires with use of basic color code sequence
  • Participates in first time production runs ofnew products
  • Supportscycle count activity inventory handling and inventory transactionsfollowing established material procedures
  • Participates in continuous improvement andteam building activities; maintains productive workingrelationships with all team members
  • Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge ofall applicable safety rules and regulations
  • Completes all required paperwork
  • Performs clean up and toolinventory activities
  • Performs other duties as assigned bymanager.
Experience: 02 years
  • Entrylevel job with little or noprior relevant experience
  • Work is prescribed and completed with close supervisionand little autonomy
  • Duties are clearly defined and methods and tasks aredescribed in detail
