Job Description

The Cluster Operations Manager role is a cluster role with the successful candidate operating within a cluster of 3 hotels located at the busy Birmingham International Airport. We operate 3 brands, Novotel, Ibis and Ibis Budget with a total of 477 rooms.

The cluster offers 2 restaurants, 2 bars and meeting room facilities. Our clients are a mix of prestigious Airline crews, transient and business clients as well as family holiday travellers.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop within a very experienced but compact team, offering the chance to operate within a very successful cluster of hotels that deliver the very best of performance.

This fantastic opportunity is not for the faint hearted and will require you to be fully immersed in our culture as we deliver a very high level of customer satisfaction and great results overall.

The Operations Manager reports directly to the General Manager and acts on their behalf in their absence. Is responsible for the entire operation including Food and Beverage, Rooms, Guest Experience and Sales and Marketing. Your role is to enforce standards and, to guarantee a consistently high quality guest experience. Coordinates all aspects of the operation to ensure that each outlet functions at an optimal level in key areas including service, revenue generation and cost management. Creates a culture which is service focused, positive and driven to succeed, open to change and creative in approach. Fosters the talent within the department to ensure that all reporting HODs and Talents are effective in their current roles and developed to the next level.
