Payroll & Benefits Team Leader

Responsibilities
Ensure that all HMRC submissions are made, payroll reconciliations carried out and all legislative timescales are understood and adhered to. Experience running all aspects of a payroll function, including HMRC Legislation Company policies and employee benefits are managed in line with Waters guidelines Support the Payroll Manager through the continuous improvement, development and coordination of processes and procedures. The ability to manage the payroll and benefits systems, with the aim of providing improvements along with an excellent employee experience. Liaise with the internal and external auditors in a timely manner Maintain a proactive continuous professional understanding of statutory and payroll changes Undertake day to day line management of the UK team, including, one to one’s, conducting appraisals, overseeing their development, whilst promoting the shared service ethos. Manage pension administration, auto enrolment and interface with pension providers.
Qualifications
Education:
Certified Payroll Professional qualification – CIPP or equivalent.Experience:
Experience in the use of ADP IHCM software or similar product. Ability to calculate manual pay slips Knowledge of stock option and restricted stock unit schemes is an advantage. Understanding in the operation of a benefit administration systemsCompetencies:
