Exam Invigilator

Contract: Full-time

Location: Spilsby

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: £83 - £100 per day

GSL Education Lincolnshire is seeking meticulous and dependable Exam Invigilators to join our team in Spilsby. This role is essential in ensuring the integrity and smooth conduct of examinations, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a calm and conducive environment for students to perform their best during exams.
  • Set up examination venues by arranging equipment and papers in line with procedures.
  • Monitor students to prevent malpractice and ensure adherence to exam guidelines.
  • Collect and organize exam papers at the end of each session.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to the examination process.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to remain vigilant.
  • Strong communication skills for clear instructions.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Previous invigilation experience is beneficial but not required as training will be provided.
  • Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
