As a Production Operative, you will assist the Machine Minder to ensure the smooth operation of machinery. You will be involved in producing high-quality cartons, and maintaining high standards throughout the process. Your role will also involve quality checks, general housekeeping, and reporting figures and information to Minders.

Hours of Work: 40 hours over a 4-day week, rotating between06:00 – 16:00 (Tuesday – Friday)05:45 – 01:45 (Monday – Thursday)

Production Operative Requirements:

  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and determination
  • Polite, friendly, and positive manner
  • Willingness to work to pre-set standards
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Willingness to learn and progress within the company

Production Operative Benefits:

  • Starting salary £23,920 – fully trained £27,706 per annum (Probation rate £11.50 p/h. Post probation £11.90 p/h. £12.45 p/h achievable within 6 – 12 month, £13.32p/h for assistant runner level.)
