How you’ll help us make health happen:

Manage supplier integration and performance post-contract, ensuring compliance and fostering strong relationships. Conduct regular reviews with key suppliers to assess performance and compliance, and explore improvement opportunities. Oversee supplier risk, conduct due diligence, and ensure mitigation of financial or reputational risks. Resolve service incidents by analysing root causes and implementing necessary process changes. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to drive innovation, efficiency, and value creation. Lead internal stakeholder reviews to identify needs and service improvements, developing supplier relationship plans. Develop and execute plans for continuous service, cost, risk, and flexibility improvements. Address and resolve supplier performance issues with action plans. Facilitate successful service improvement projects and transition to business operations. Monitor market trends and ensure supplier base competitiveness, informing category strategy. Provide regular updates and reports to business stakeholders on supplier management activities.

Essential Skills, experience and qualifications needed:

Experience in contract supplier management Experience in managing supplier against the requirements set out in the FCA (SYSC 8/13) and PRA handbook. Experience in either an supplier assurance and audit Knowledge of working with and managing outsourced Service Providers. A good knowledge of supply chain processes and the tools and techniques that can be used to improve them. Professional Procurement or Risk Management qualifications Good understanding of risk management frameworks and compliance activities Knowledge and experience of contract terms and conditions with an emphasis on drafting schedules Strong commercial awareness with a demonstrable record of value-based delivery
