Job Description

We are seeking a talented Test Analyst to join our dynamic team at Sopra Banking Software. As a QA Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our banking software solutions.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, identify, and report defects, and contribute to the continuous improvement and overall quality of our products.

What will the role involve?:

  • Planning, developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the overall quality of our multi-platform products.
  • Conducting testing such as functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and acceptance to identify defects and ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Collaborating with software developers, business analysts, and project managers daily.
  • Reporting to Project Managers and Test Manager
  • Documenting test results, managing and tracking defects, and providing clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
  • Participating in peer reviews, walkthroughs, and team meetings to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Contributing to the enhancement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ownership of the test planning and delivery of our products during the software development life cycle.
  • Participating in decision-making regarding the integration of software packages and processes to support testing and test automation.
  • Working with modern tools and technologies whilst working on cutting-edge projects.
  • Attending cross-functional meetings daily.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in software testing for 3+ years
  • ISTQB certification
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of the software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Some experience in automation desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
