Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate young minds? Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Alton. This full-time position starts in September 2024 and offers a unique opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and 4, covering the full age and attainment range.
Role Overview:
- Teaching Responsibilities: Delivering 9 Science lessons per two-week cycle.
- Additional Responsibilities: Incorporating English and general cover to make up a full teaching schedule.
- Duration: This arrangement will be for the initial term, with potential adjustments thereafter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive teaching environment.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or completion of Initial Teacher Training (ITT) by September 2024.
- Specialization in Science with the ability to teach across the age and attainment range.
- Flexibility to teach English and provide general cover as needed.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
