Our Bishops Stortford site is looking for an experienced Polish Technician to join our skilled team. If you have a passion for vehicle finishing and are committed to achieving high standards of work, we’d love to have you on board.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform polishing and finishing work on vehicles to ensure a high-quality, glossy finish after painting. Remove any imperfections such as dust nibs, scratches, and swirl marks from painted surfaces using appropriate tools and techniques. Use a variety of polishing compounds, buffing machines, and hand polishing tools to achieve an impeccable finish. Ensure all work is completed to meet the company’s quality standards and customer expectations. Maintain polishing equipment and tools in good working condition and ensure a clean, safe work environment. Collaborate closely with the paint and prep teams to ensure efficient workflow and quality control.

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience as a Polish Technician in the automotive repair industry. Strong knowledge of polishing techniques and experience with machine and hand polishing tools. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines. A good understanding of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment. A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to continuously improve.
