Receiving Clerk

Reports to: Tyler Bachtle – Purchasing Manager

Department: Inventory/Receiving FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly

SUMMARY: The Receiving Clerk is a support role to production and is responsible for stocking/delivering all materials and supplies that production needs to manufacture product.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Unloads Lumber, Plywood, veneer, and other materials used to manufacture products from trucks daily or as needed.

• Check in/Inspect materials and deliveries to appropriate department.

• Adjusts inventory in system.

• Responsible for monthly cycle counts.

• Ensures that production does not run out of parts.

• Maintains inventory accuracy.

• Unloading and checking in deliveries.

• Receiving PO’s in the system for items received.

• Stocking of incoming deliveries and delivering packages to designated locations.

• Performs preventative maintenance as it applies to specific equipment.

• This job requires regular, predictable, full-time attendance and all overtime as production requires.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Assists in all other areas of receiving and purchasing as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Valid Driver's License

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Forklift certification required after training. Forklift experience a plus.

The work environment is indoors in a typical industrial manufacturing setting however some unloading of delivery trucks outdoors is also required.
