Position: Year 6 Supply Teacher
Location: Leeds and surrounding areas
Contract: Supply/Temporary
Salary: Competitive daily rates, dependent on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 6 students, covering the full curriculum.
- Prepare students for SATs, providing targeted support and revision strategies.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning and uphold school policies.
- Adapt to various school settings and maintain high standards of teaching and professionalism.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6.
- Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum, including SATs preparation.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
