Position: Year 6 Supply Teacher
Location: Leeds and surrounding areas
Contract: Supply/Temporary
Salary: Competitive daily rates, dependent on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 6 students, covering the full curriculum.
  • Prepare students for SATs, providing targeted support and revision strategies.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning and uphold school policies.
  • Adapt to various school settings and maintain high standards of teaching and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6.
  • Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum, including SATs preparation.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
