Humanities Teacher – Full Time
Salary: £160 - £250pd - MPS/UPS

The Role:
As a Humanities Teacher, you will play an essential role in developing the teaching and learning of Humanities across a range of subjects, ensuring that students are provided with the best opportunities for academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to students of varying ages and abilities.
  • Mark work, provide feedback, and maintain detailed records of student progress.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the subject area, and create new curriculum resources.
  • Prepare students for exams and external qualifications.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and implement effective strategies for addressing misbehaviour.
  • Engage with parents and carers to discuss student progress and development.

About You:

  • You are a well-qualified graduate with an appropriate degree.
  • You hold a PGCE or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • You have experience in curriculum development and working across different age groups and abilities.
  • You possess excellent classroom management skills and work well within a team.
  • You are flexible, creative, and committed to developing your teaching practice.
