About the Job:
As our Workshop Controller , you'll take charge of the day-to-day operations of our workshop. Your responsibilities will include leading and managing a team of Technicians to optimise workflow and productivity, ensuring timely and accurate repairs that meet the highest standards of quality for our customers. Additionally, you'll step in to cover for the Site Manager during absences, ensuring continuity of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of Technicians to maximise workflow and productivity. Ensure repairs are completed timely and accurately, meeting quality standards. Cover for the Site Manager during periods of absence. Conduct necessary repairs to cover team absences, particularly during holiday periods. Oversee health and safety regulations and ensure safe working practices within the workshop. Carry out quality control to ensure repairs meet BSI PAS 10125 standards.About You:
Extensive understanding of the repair industry, vehicle legislation, and trade practices. Previous experience as an MET, Panel, or Paint Technician in an accident repair background. Supervisory experience is preferred. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on producing compliant, high-quality work. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills. Proven ability to plan and prioritise work, as well as delegate tasks effectively.What We Offer:
