About the Role:

  • Full-time, permanent position teaching a Year 5 class.
  • Deliver a broad and engaging curriculum to Key Stage 2 pupils.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, supporting children’s academic and emotional development.
  • Work closely with other staff to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning needs.
  • Support the school’s ethos of encouraging creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching at Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience preferred).
  • A valid and up-to-date DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
  • A true passion for working with children, with the ability to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities.
  • Strong classroom management skills, with a focus on creating a supportive and nurturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Commitment to professional development and a desire to make a lasting impact on the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
