An exciting opportunity has arisenfor an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner in Childrens Neuro-Orthopaedics atthe Childrens Therapy based in Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and the ChildrensHospital. We are seeking an experienced physiotherapist who is passionate aboutpeople and enabling their rehabilitation to fulfil this exciting role.

Main duties of the job

If you are successful in yourapplication to this post, you will be expected to co-ordinate and lead theChildrens Physiotherapy Neuro-orthopaedic caseload, for both the in andoutpatient services, assessing and treating children between new-born age and18 years. The role will involve providing exceptional MSK physiotherapy servicein Childrens orthopaedics across the Trust, and work as an independentpractitioner alongside Childrens Orthopaedic Surgeons and a ChildrensOrthopaedic Fellow. A successful candidate will have previous experience in amanagement or leadership position, as they will have to deliver training and supervisionjunior staff member to develop their professional skills. The role will alsorequire the candidate to have advanced diagnostic skills, allowing them toaccurately interpret results to make the appropriate referrals and actaccordingly.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

Currentrelevant professional registration

Minimum 2years post-qualification experience

Enhanced DBS

UK/NHSexperience

Experience in thefield of Neuro-Orthopaedics

Experienceworking in Paediatrics

Desirable tohave experience of working with patients with Cerebral Palsy
