Job Description: We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our network of exceptional educators in Mansfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive mathematics lessons, fostering a love for the subject, and helping students develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This role requires a professional who is committed to excellence in mathematics education and fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver an engaging mathematics curriculum that meets the educational needs of students across various age groups and skill levels.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages a passion for mathematics and critical thinking.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to enhance their development.
  • Foster students' abilities to understand complex mathematical concepts and apply them effectively.
  • Collaborate with school staff to continuously improve and innovate the mathematics curriculum.
  • Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as mathematics clubs, competitions, and workshops, to further engage students in the subject.
  • Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and school staff, promoting the mathematics program within the school community.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching mathematics in a school setting, with a track record of successful student outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Demonstrated passion for mathematics education and a commitment to fostering a love for the subject in students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Flexibility, creativity, and a student-centered approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
