Appearance Manager

The Ryanair Appearance Department are responsible for the overall presentation of the aircraft within the Ryanair Group. We manage the performance of a range of services from cabin cleaning to landing gear washes to maintain the highest appearance standards for our passengers. We ensure that our network of contracted service providers are continuously monitored to guarantee compliance with engineering requirements, training and standards at all times.

• Providing the highest standards to all aspects of interior and exterior appearance to fleet aircraft.
• Working as part of the Engineering Management group to provide a safe, efficient and cost effective solution to the Appearance of fleet aircraft.
• Responsible for drafting and maintaining full cost management of the annual budget for review by the Director of Engineering.
• Commercially responsible for all aspects of Aircraft appearance, including major contract negotiations and renewals.
• Oversight and Management of Performance, Compliance, Safety and Security for a vast number of operational Service Providers across Ryanair’s network.
• Management and oversight of Appearance department staff including recruitment processes.
• Develop and maintain all planning processes and systems for Appearance activities to be completed throughout network of service providers.
• Responsible for supply chain and consistent stock levels of aircraft parts relating to Appearance.
