The role
This role is responsible for ensuring the Airspace Change Programme at MAG complies with CAP1616, the regulatory framework for airspace design. You will translate CAP1616 into a project plan and budget that covers resource, communication, environmental and technical aspects.
You will work with external contractors, professional service providers and design team to deliver high-quality and cost-effective services to the project. You will also establish good working relationships with key stakeholders, such as CAA and NATS, and represent MAG at external meetings.
Additionally, youll work closely with other Airspace team members, as well as the commercial and procurement team, to plan, manage and deliver the programme of work. You will monitor and report on the project progress, risk and budget to various internal and external boards.
What will make you successful in the role?
To be successful in this role, you must have robust stakeholder management and communication abilities, as well as competence in navigating demanding, fast-paced situations.
You must be organised, manage time effectively, and adept at addressing complex issues within tight deadlines. Demonstrated success in project delivery is essential (within airspace is desired), alongside a professional membership in an applicable field if possible.
While the job does not include direct line management, you should be eager, adaptable, innovative, collaborative, and prepared to guide and teach others.
