We are currently looking for a casual chauffeur/office technician to join our team in the Mayoral Office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing chauffeur duties and office support to the Policy & Executive Support Section/Mayoral office
The main duties of the post:
The main duties of the post will be provide chauffeur duties to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council and any other driving duties, as well as undertaking basic office administration as required by the Mayor’s Secretary.
The successful candidate must have extensive driving experience and a good geographical knowledge of the County Borough. An advanced driving qualification (ROSPA/IAM) or equivalent would be desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate must have good interpersonal and communication skills, be smart in appearance and be available at short notice and able to work anti-social hours when required.
The successful candidate must be flexible and have the ability to undertaken light manual work as well as basic administration roles.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure vetting check.
