As an Architect you will be at theforefront of designing cuttingedge architectural projects that pushthe boundaries of creativity and functionality. You will bedeveloping detailed design plans coordinating with clients ensuringthe successful execution of projects from concept to completion.Primarily in the housing department this role offers the uniqueopportunity to enhance your portfolio with standoutprojects.
Responsibilities
- Work on architectural projects from theinitial concept through to the planning stages ensuring they alignwith client objectives/requirements whilst delivering innovativeand sustainable design solutions.
- Collaboratewith clients multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders includinglocal authorities and governing bodies to guarantee successfulcompletion of projects.
- Conduct thorough siteanalysis feasibility studies and research to inform and guidedecisions and project recommendations.
- Workclosely with planners architects engineers and other professionalsto integrate urban design principles into projects.
- Develop and present detailed design proposals to clientsand stakeholders clearly communicating the project vision andprogress.
- Prepare coordinate and submitcomprehensive planning packages.
- Stay uptodatewith emerging trends best practices and innovations in the builtenvironment demonstrating a proactive approach to selfmotivationand interest in business development.
Experience
- A bachelors degree in Architecture or arelated field with an ARB registration is essential.
- Proficiency with Revit is desirable but notrequired.
- Time spent with AutoCAD SketchUp andPhotoshop is expected.
- A RIBA registrationwould be an advantage but not required.
- Experience working within design teams or independentlymanaging projects coordinating design teams and liaising withclients stakeholders and consultants.
- Demonstrating exceptional design skills with a thoroughunderstanding of Building Regulations design standards and bestpractices.
- Strong leadership organisationalcommunication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently on smaller projects orcollaboratively as a part of a team on larger projects.
