Job summary

North Petherton Surgery have an exciting opportunity for highly motivated and flexible individual to join the practice as a Dispenser on a fixed term basis.

20 hours per week available, working patterns to be discussed at interview.

The rate of pay will be £ per hour, with the benefit of a NHS or NEST pension offered.

JOB TITLE: Dispenser

REPORTS TO: LeadDispensing Technician

HOURS:

Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

Confidentiality:

Maintain confidentiality as per the SHS confidentiality policy. Information relating to patients, carers, colleagues, other healthcare workers or the business of the practice may only be divulged to authorised persons in accordance with SHS policies and procedures relating to confidentiality and the protection of person and sensitive data.

The post-holder willassist in promoting and maintaining their own and others health, safety andsecurity as defined in the SHS Health and Safety policy.

Qualifications

Essential

To be educated to a minimum of GCSE or equivalent level. To have a recognised dispensing qualification equivalent to NVQ level 2 or above

Desirable

Evidence of continued professional development

Experience

Essential

Experience of working as a dispenser in a pharmacy or dispensing practice Practical knowledge and experience of using a dispensing system

Desirable

Experience of working in a medical environment
