Responsibilities:

 

SiteOperations IT is at the heart of the global IT organization ensuring the ‘rubber hits the road’ on Elanco’s growing digital investments positioned on modern IT architecture.The key responsibilities for this role include:

Represent all aspects of IT to local employees, building a strong brand for IT

Provide day-to-day support to users maintaining key IT Operations processes eg on/off boarding, IT asset management, IT Infrastructure, local IT budget management

First point of contact for the local business to resolve technical issues / local IT applications via break-fix testing, trouble tickets and/or change requests.

Troubleshoot and repair network (LAN & WAN), hardware and software components

Effective business partnering with Global Sales/Marketing, Global IT and EuropeanCommercial leadership to deliver integrated technology solutions

Actively participatein thecountry’soperationalagendastoenablesite“essential wins”

Align existing IT solutions with business partner’s strategy to drive adoption and standardization of global templates wherever possible.

Own the technology and business use of local Commercial IT applications and related hardware, ensuring continuous operation, systems remain in a validated state and manage lifecycles through releases and retirement 

Understand and represent local compliance requirements for IT solutions/services data privacy

Ensure local adoption of global IT policies

Oversight of local IT service provider resources ensuring they deliver reliable, quality IT services

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related Scientific area

Minimum three years’ experience in the implementation and support of IT systems and/or infrastructure

Additional Skills & Preferences:

Broad IT infrastructure experience(network, telephony, end-user device)

Knowledge & experience of ITIL processes

Demonstrated ability to influence peers and business partners

Demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues and either resolve or escalate to the appropriate level for resolution

Build strong relationships with other IT functions

Strong analytical, problem solving and investigative skills

Experience in the Animal Health industry or Commercial environment, with a solid understanding of relevant processes and trends
