Job Title: .NET Developer eTRM (OUTSIDE IR35)

Job Description

Join one of the largest commodity trading firms in Europe, as a eTRM .NET Developer

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain .NET applications within the ETRM space. Work on three main applications: Endur, GMA, and LTRM. Contribute to the ongoing project of building a Power trading platform. Handle Business as Usual (BAU) tasks to understand ETRM and related platforms. Collaborate with team members to ensure the successful transition to new messaging technologies. Deputise for the hiring manager and assist with their responsibilities. Mentor and support junior team members. Engage in support activities and occasionally work with older technology.

Essential Skills

Strong .NET development experience (any version of .NET). Understanding of Visualisation tools such as SSIS, SSAS, and Power BI. Experience working in high throughput environments like trading or betting. Ability to contribute new ideas and drive team progression. Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members. Willingness to engage in support and learn new skills such as ETRM.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with ETRM platforms. Familiarity with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ. CI/CD pipeline experience. Architectural level knowledge of applications.
