Job Title: SEN 1:1 Tutor

Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough

Salary: £25.00 Per hour

Job Description:Job Duties:
  • Provide 1:1 tutoring support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to engage and support students in their learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as SENCOs and parents, to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Required Qualifications:
  • A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
  • Experience working with students with SEN.
  • Knowledge of SEN support strategies and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education:

A degree in Education or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 years of UK experience in a similar role.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of SEN Code of Practise.
  • Ability to create and deliver personalised learning plans.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Knowledge of different learning styles and teaching methods.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional training in specific SEN areas (e.g., autism, dyslexia).
  • Experience using assistive technology in teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
