Here is an exciting opportunity for your to join out Pharmacy team as a Lead Pharmacist - Biologics and Homecare, suitable for band 7 to 8a progression

You will Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services and advice to a specified clinical speciality(s), demonstrating a high level of clinical effectiveness. You will also manage and develop the delivery of medicines to Basildon hospital patients through homecare services in accordance with current regulatory and national standard.

You willlead and develop a high-quality pharmacy service to patients within Basildon requiring biologics therapy.

Main duties of the job

Duties are to be undertaken in accordance with departmental SOPs. Professional actions are to be governed by current professional, clinical, and legal guidelines and in line with best practice. The post holder will adhere to the principles of the NHS Constitution Take part in the provision of general clinical, dispensary and pharmacy on call services
