Location: Glasgow, G5 8DP

Hours of work: 40

Working Pattern: Shifts Sunday – Thursday
10:00pm – 6:30am

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £11.55

As a Kitchen Assistant with ISS UK, you will be at the heart of the action and will play a key role in our catering operation, assisting with the preparation and service of food while keeping an excellent standard of cleanliness and safety.

The Role

Support the senior team to deliver the Campus food strategy Assist with food preparation, & general cleaning of food production areas Oversee the standard and quality of all food & drink you prepare and serve; you are responsible for ensuring the items that you prepare are to spec, and have the “wow” factor To work alongside other work streams, e.g. the Curated Experience team to deliver events and experiences that are literally the talk of the Campus and the town Keep your ear close to the ground Tell us what the customer wants and how we keep our clients happy and coming back To be audit ready at all times and achieve the highest possible standard, e.g. finance, HS, FS, internal inspections, etc. Attend daily service briefings. To drive a ‘One Team’ Culture, provision of an integrated service.

About You

Enthusiastic approach to work Catering experience is preferred - but a positive, can-do attitude is essential Good understanding of the principals of food hygiene You can follow instructions but are not scared to make your own decisions for what's best for the customer Making sure the customer come first, ensuring their experience is an exceptional one one A determined team player who works well with others
