To support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join SOCOTEC's Renewable Energy team who are among the leaders in the renewables field. We are on hand to ensure the compliance, safety and optimisation of your renewable energy resource throughout the entire project life cycle. Our Environmental Science team is committed to supporting all aspects of renewable energy resource project, from the design and construction phase to the decommissioning of your asset.


We’re looking for a Field Operations Sampler to join our Environmental Science Division, who will:

  • Undertake solid fuel sampling by both manual and automated mechhanical sampling methods at ports and client sites.
  • Prepare solid fuel samples for physical analysis and report results to client using IT systems.
  • Collect samples from customer sites as and when required and deliver to SOCOTEC laboratories for analysis.
  • Prepare samples for analysis and undertake physical testing.
  • Work in-line with company and client / site health and safety requirements.
