We’re Innovative
That’s why we need people like you to help us. People who enjoy finding new ways to do things …
The Role
As a Site Manager supporting our client SGN, your team will be undertaking all associated works on the gas network.
No two days will be the same in this fast-paced environment, as you manage and monitor these programmed works, to maximise output and minimise costs, whilst promoting a ‘right first time and zero harm safety culture’.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced manager who excels at leading their teams to deliver client requirements and achieve contractual objectives and cost efficiencies.
Here are just some of the activities you’ll be involved in...
- Ensure all work complies with relevant H&S and environmental legislation and NRSWA specifications
- Highlight non-conformities, escalating when required
- Lead and manage your team and ensure they receive high quality training and mentoring, that supports their development, setting them up for success and enabling them to make their best contribution
- Promote and drive continual improvement and innovative ideas
- Proactively manage schedules to minimise disruption and preventable mistakes
We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following…
Substantial experience of working in a similar role in the gas/utility/construction/service environment/infrastructure environment at site management level, with significant involvement of managing people and commercial awareness.
A Streetworks (NRSWA) Supervisor accreditation, SSSTS/SMSTS are essential and a civil engineering qualification and a first aid qualification are both highly desirable and it’s important that you have a full and valid driver’s licence. Along with extensive knowledge of gas and health and safety practices
If this is sounds like you and you’re ready for a new and exciting challenge - don’t delay - apply today
