Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer/Receptionist to join the team at Colwyn Bay Hospital. The purpose of this post is to provide an efficient and comprehensive administrative and reception service to Colwyn Bay Hospital. The post holder will first point of contact for telephone communication. The post holder will work within the Colwyn Bay and Llandudno hospital administrative teams alongside the Site Administrator to provide a seamless administrative service to the Community Hospitals.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be highly organised, dedicated to customer care and motivated to deliver a high quality service. There will be a need to work on ones own initiative but also as part of a team. It is essential that the candidate has a flexible approach to work to meet the demands of the service.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.

Qualifications
Essential
GCSE C or above or equivalent in English language or equivalent level of experience IT or Word processing qualification eg RSA or equivalent Welsh Speaker

ECDL NVQ level 1 or equivalent in customer service

Experience of using a computer system (eg GP clinical IT system Previous experience of working in a reception / office environment Experience of working with the general public
