Job Purpose Summary

As a Warehouse Operative, you are responsible for a variety of tasks involved in preparing and receiving orders, as well as moving, stocking, scanning, and recording product inventories.

What you will do

  • Picking and packing customer orders.
  • Preparing orders for despatch and helping to load the vehicles.
  • Booking orders in / out using the computer system.
  • Stocking the shelves with inventory.
  • Participating in stock checks when required.

What you will need (job requirements)

  • To have picking and packing experience.
  • To be able to lift circa 25kg - some boxes can be heavy
  • Be confident using a computer to book stock in / out.
  • FLT license would be an advantage but not essential.

  • A salary of £11.44 per hour rising to £12.00 after probation.
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  • Discretionary annual bonus.

  • Working hours: 38.5 hours per week - Monday – Friday; 07.45 - 16.00 with a 30min break.
