Families pay a monthly fee and when their childrenoutgrow their bikes we
exchange them for a larger size. Werefurbish the used bikes and make them
available to otherfamilies. Its sustainable and hasslefree.
With over 80000bikes we are the secondlargest bike rental networkglobally
and the largest in the childrens bike sector.With over $50 million in funding we
are rapidly expandingacross Europe. While our headquarters is in theUnited
Kingdom we are already active in Germany AustriaSpain and The Netherlands.

Aboutthe Role
We are seeking an independent andproactive Operations Project Manager to
lead operationalenhancement projects at Bike Club. Reporting to the Chiefof
Staff and collaborating closely with the COO andOperations Leadership Team
you will play a crucial role inidentifying areas for improvement designing
streamlinedworkflows and ensuring the successful delivery ofoperations
projects.

Bike Club is goingthrough a transformational period in our operations aswe
expand into multiple European countries. We haveexciting projects in the
pipeline to optimise our Europeanoperations and build software systems to
support ouroperationalteams.

Tasks

WhatYoull Do:

  • Leadoperational change projects from initiation to implementationtaking
    ownership of project planning anddelivery.
  • Collaborate with COO and seniorstakeholders to define project scope
    delivery and businesscase for benefits realisation.
  • Manageoperations projects comprehensively includingunderstanding
    requirements planning milestones timelinesdependencies priorities
    risk management resourceallocation and stakeholder communication.
  • Workclosely with the Engineering team for technologylayeredprojects
    ensuring alignment of strategies andoutcomes.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships andprovide regular progress reports to
    the wider Bike ClubGroup effectively communication project goals
    progress andoutcomes.
  • Direct the implementation andoptimisation of Warehouse Management
    Systems (WMS) toimprove operational efficiency andaccuracy.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to seamlessly integrate WMS into
    existingoperational workflows.
  • Develop comprehensivetraining programs for teams to support the
    adoption of newprocesses andtechnologies.

OtherResponsibilities

  • Havingtradeoff conversations with Senior Stakeholders acrossmultiple
    projects and minimising scopecreep.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of currentoperational processes to
    identifyinefficiencies.
  • Develop and implementstrategies for streamlining workflows reducing
    costs andenhancing operational efficiency.
  • Foster acollaborative and positive working environmentpromoting
    teamwork and opencommunication.
  • Implement a culture ofcontinuous improvement encouraging feedback
    andinnovation.

What YouBring

  • Proven 3 yearsexperience in management of complexoperational
    improvement projects / operations leadershiproles in startup environment
  • Recent record ofendtoend delivery of complex change comprising
    multiplestreams of work and involving a diverse group ofinternal
    stakeholders.
  • Experience inimplementing ground up software developmentswithin
    operations.
  • Excellentcommunication and organisationskills.
  • Understanding of Asana and good projectmanagement principles.
  • Strong attention todetail.
  • Thrives under pressure and able toadapt to changing business
    requirements andpriorities.
