Plant amp Transport Mechanic Fitter

Due to continued growth OCU are looking foran experience Mechanic / Fitter to join our established team inBorehamwood. You will be responsible for carrying out preventativemaintenance to Construction Plant equipment / vehicles routineservicing and repair of plant equipment including diesel engineshydraulic etc hire checks and on site services and inspection.

Responsibilities

• InspectPlant engines transmissions and run diagnostictests
• Inspect Vehicles engines transmissionsand run diagnostic tests
• Conduct repairs aimingfor maximum reliability
• Troubleshoot reportedproblems and resolve them in a timely manner
• Perform thorough maintenance on machineryvehicles and equipment
• Carry out any otherduties appropriate for thispost

Skills &Experience

• Provenexperience as a Mechanic
• Excellent knowledge ofmachinery and hydraulic electrical and other systems and theircomponents
• A strong commitment to all healthand safety guidelines
• Attention todetail
• Excellent prioritisation andorganisational skills
• Selfmotivated and able towork on own initiative; enthusiastic with can doattitude
• Good problemsolvingskills
• Good communicationskills
• Able to work todeadlines
• DrivingLicense
