Breakfast Chef

We are currently seeking a passionate Breakfast Chef to help run our kitchen here at House of George.   

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven individual to be a part of the launch of the House of George Hotel, nestled in the beautiful Village of Broadway in the Cotswold's.

This role will allow you to work in a 28-cover restaurant. We’re looking for someone to be a part of, and work closely with the management team to create a unique dining experience using the best produce in the British Isles.

As a Breakfast Chef, you will be passionate, experienced, adaptive and creative. We want someone who can work well in a team. As a Team leader. And as a Mentor. 

Applicants must be of modern stature, meaning you are keen to make sure the entire team is looked after from a well-being and educational point of view.

We want someone who can help build a solid team and work closely with the Head Chef and Sous chef to push the hotel forward at all times, supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge with passion. 

What we expect:

• Take control of the breakfast service and ensure guests receive a truly delicious and memorable breakfast
• Cooking and managing breakfast service and assisting with lunch service.
• Setting up and cleaning down the kitchen after breakfast.
• Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic at all times.
• Ensure all stocks are kept under optimum conditions.
• Ensure all mise-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared to the correct recipe and the correct quantity.
• Ensure the department is operated within the appropriate legislation and the appropriate records are maintained up-to-date.
• Ensure any anticipated issues are communicated promptly to the Head Chef
