Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment have been given the exciting opportunity to recruit for production operatives for a well known global manufacturer in the NG2 area of Nottingham.

As a production operative you can expect your day to be varied and challenging so it does require somebody who is dedicated, and willing to learn new skills. 

You will be operating machines, learning production processes, providing support to other members of the team and eventually be given the freedom to run your own machine and demonstrate your ability to learn and develop to look for the next step.

About the Client:

Our client is one of the leading international specialists for solutions and technologies relating to printing inks, printing aid and raw materials.

Benefits & Pay Rates:

  • £11.44 per hour starting salary 
  • Free onsite parking 
  • Temporary - Permanent position
  • Weekly pay whilst with the agency 
  • Pension Scheme 

This role will require candidates to:

  • Stable day shift working Monday - Friday (10:00am - 19:00pm) 
  • Have candidates learning new skills on the job to ensure that the production line does not stop
  • Machine mind and be good at paying attention as this role will involve a lot of quality checks along the production process

What we need from you:

  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
  • People who are committed to learning on the job and want a temporary ongoing/temporary to permanent placement
  • To be physically fit as this role will involve a lot of manual handling 
  • Ideally have experience within a similar production environment and ideally have machine operative experience
