Position: Relief Security Officer

Hours: 36 hours per week ( Days, Nights & Weekends)

Transport: Access to a vehicle or excellent transport links


Job Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter unauthorized activities.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and observations, completing paperwork promptly.
  • Enforce access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
  • Conduct thorough searches of individuals and vehicles entering the premises per established protocols.
  • Respond to emergencies and security incidents, taking action to ensure safety and mitigate risks.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures, reporting any hazards, unsafe practices, or incidents to the supervisor/manager as per Assignment Instructions.
  • Perform initial investigations, providing both verbal and written reports on incidents, suspicious activities, objects, and vehicles.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Punctual, reliable, and willing to work shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Sensitive and understanding of the needs of individuals with disabilities or special requirements.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation to uphold the image of Securitas and the client.

Essential Skills

  • SIA Licence
  • Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable history 
  • Able to get to the Site on-time for your shifts (reasonable commute),DG9 8RG
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the Security Industry
  • Excellent customer service
