TasksYourresponsibilities will range from setting up and executing batterytests to helping us scale up the laboratory by installing andcommissioning new test equipment and building new test equipment.You will play a key role in ensuring that our laboratory isorganised and operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Setup and manage battery tests inaccordance to our test plans and monitor data to ensure quality andintegrity as well as identify and resolve testingissues
- Work with test engineers to install andcommission new test equipment and build custom test hardware.Ensure that equipment you are responsible for is maintained andcalibrated.
- Closely follow our testingprocesses in your work to ensure the quality repeatability andconsistency of test data and ensure that documentation relating toyour work is accurate and complete
- Own safetyprocess documentation and training for specific areas of thelaboratory and ensure these are adhered to by otherusers
- Collaborate within the Test Engineeringteam to help manage and continuously improve laboratoryorganisation and operationalefficiency
- Youhave a technical background in engineering or a related field andhave experience with basic electrical testing techniques anddesigning and installing custom cablelooms.
- You have a high level of attention todetail and a cando and practical approach to laboratory work with astrong ability to problem solve
- You haveexperience with working safely in a hazardous workshop laboratoryor industrial environment
- Experience withbattery testing and battery test equipment is a plus but notessential
- You want to make a positive change inthe world through yourwork
