West Northamptonshire Norse provides a range of cleaning, grounds maintenance, facilities management and refuse collection services across the district.

This role is a full-time apprentice role offering 40 hours per week Monday Friday. 6.30-15.00. This will be a combination of practical learning and online based work.

The role

West Northamptonshire Norse are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Apprentice to work in our waste & Grounds team across Daventry and the surrounding areas.

You will be part of a team delivering street cleansing services to commercial and public clients, taking responsibility for;

Grass cutting

Weed spraying

Shrub Maintenance

Shrub Planting

Strimming

. Our successful candidate

Previous experience working within a waste collection and/or disposal environment would be an advantage, however we are happy to provide training and support to the right individual.

We will be looking for you to demonstrate your ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as maintain excellent customer service skills.

Our Offer:

Salary £13,.00 Full time, permanent job upon completion.  Pension & Sickness scheme 20 days annual leave + bank holidays ongoing training and development opportunities
