Jonathan Lee Recruitment is looking for an Engineering Technician to help develop and implement our client's planned preventative maintenance schedule. This full-time Maintenance Technician role that comes with a favourable salary and benefits package.

As part of the Engineering team, you will report directly to the Site Engineering Manager or Managing Director. The working hours will be 4-on-4-off 12-hour shifts, rotating into 2-day and 2-night shifts based on your rota in the maintenance file. There may be times when you are requested to work additional hours to provide support and cover for colleagues during absences, including longer working periods, weekends, and bank holidays.

If you were already in this Maintenance Technician role, here are some areas you might have been working on this week:

  • Observing, recognising, and reporting on machinery or component defects or symptoms of impending failure and providing CMMS data
  • Carrying out Planned and Preventative maintenance to agreed schedules
  • Diagnosing faults and testing, repairing and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Implementing technical service instruction data relating to machinery and equipment

To apply for this Maintenance Technician role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:

  • Minimum level 3 C&G with a minimum of 5 years in a similar industry
  • Experience within a maintenance environment as Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician
  • Preventative maintenance experience is essential
  • Ability to prioritise own workload to achieve operational and personal targets
