This is a permanent full-time role with hybrid working and flexible working options.
The Role

Key responsibilities include:

Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering consultancy services to clients across all areas of personal tax. Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients and ensuring compliance with HM Revenue & Customs and in-house deadlines. Assisting with client queries and providing ad hoc advice where requested. Billing personal portfolio clients after work completion. Dealing with correspondence, telephone calls, and arranging and attending meetings with clients and potential clients. Assisting partners and staff members with technical queries. Providing assistance to junior members of the team where appropriate. Assisting in the preparation of technical reports in relation to income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax. Dealing with HMRC correspondence, telephone calls, and enquiries. General support to the tax team as required.

About You

Experience within a private client tax team. ATT qualified, ideally working towards CTA. A self-starter with a high level of resilience and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong aptitude for IT - able to pick up new technology quickly. Can-do attitude, positive and commercial approach. Confident, tactful, and discreet manner. Strong team spirit but also effective working independently.
