Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Calibration Engineer to join our Engineering team.

Ferring Controlled Therapeutics is a manufacturing, research and development subsidiary of Ferring Pharmaceuticals, located in East Kilbride. Having recently acquired an additional site, the organisation is experiencing an exciting phase of growth and opportunity across all areas.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the management and execution of calibrations across both sites. This role contributes to confirmed compliance of manufacturing and packaging activities.

Responsibilities and duties:

Execute internal calibration and arrange external calibrationsManage Calibration Schedule for the siteCo-ordinate site visits with external contractorsSupport maintenance of equipment performed when necessaryPreparation and review of calibration SOPs

Required Experience:

Calibration: 2 years (preferred)Experience working in a GMP and/or pharmaceutical environment (preferred)GMP complianceSchedule adherence

Education:

Certificate of Higher Education (HNC/HND) or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical engineering
