The successfulcandidate will have excellent communisation skills as well as an in-depthunderstanding of MSK Physiotherapy. They must have a flexible, adaptable andinnovative approach to work and be able to proactively deliver results.

The right candidatewill be a HCPC and CSP registered Physiotherapist with a BSc in Physiotherapy.You will be expected to maintain your own electronic patient records(SystmOne), actively participate in clinical teaching and in-service trainingsessions, deliver a high standard of patient-centred clinical care, possess afriendly and approachable attitude and apply outstanding team-working,communication and organisational skills to your daily practice.

Main duties of the job

To assess, diagnose, plan and implement therapy programmes from a clinical options for an individual caseload. To participate in the discharge planning process. To plan and organise activity with appropriate time scheduling in order to complete all clinical andadministrative duties including statistical record keeping. To be responsible for the correct and safe use of the physical environment including equipment and to be responsible for the allocation of these resources.

Job responsibilities

Clinical

Toassess, diagnose, plan and implement therapy programmes from a clinical optionsfor an individual caseload. To participate in the discharge planning process. Towork as an autonomous practitioner to be professionally and legally responsibleand accountable for all aspects of your own clinical and non-clinical activityassociated with individual patient care. Toplan and organise activity with appropriate time scheduling in order tocomplete all clinical and administrative duties including statistical recordkeeping. To be responsible for clinical record keeping in accordance with thephysiotherapy guidelines for documentation and legal requirements. To beresponsible for the correct and safe use of the physical environment includingequipment and to be responsible for the allocation of these resources. Tocontribute towards the provision of flexible and timely services which willinclude working across a 6 day week. Communication

Tocommunicate with clients and their carers, information regarding diagnosis,treatment plans and expected goals. Tocommunicate complex and sensitive information in an understandable format topatients, carers Health, Safety and Security To maintain safe clinical practicein diagnosis and treatment and report any incidents, accidents and near missesin accordance with the Healthshare Incident Policy.
