Job Duties:- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in the classroom
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities
- Providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help for students with physical disabilities
- Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Collaborating with other staff members and ensure engagement of non-verbal students
- Recognised Teaching Assistant qualification
- Enhanced DBS check
- Knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Previous experience working with students with SEND
- Experience in a classroom setting
- Understanding of different learning needs and how to support them
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience and empathy towards students with SEND
- First Aid certification
- Training in behaviour management techniques

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
