Main duties of the job

Herefordshireand Worcestershire NHS Trust are currently looking for a determined and experiencedClinical Psychologist to join their team at Umbrella Pathway, Cover croft. If you are looking to expand your NHS experience and develop your skillset within a supportive team then wewould like to hear from you

Within this role, you will beproviding specialistpsychological assessments to make complex diagnoses. You will conduct interventions withclients and then formulate and implement psychological treatment plans. As well as this, you willoffer consultation and specialist psychological input to the Multi-DisciplinaryTeam (MDT) to contribute to client's formulation, diagnosis, and treatment plan.

Job description

Job responsibilities

You'll find solutions to solve everyday problems for patients such as:

Providing, highly specialist psychological assessments and interventions to support patients needs. Efficiently managing a caseload to formulate and implement strategies to meet your patients goals. Working within or alongside a multi-disciplinary team to effectively assess and intervene with your patients psychological needs. Mentor, supervise and teach qualified and unqualified staff, including students.

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of

Relevant Qualifications Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable. Person Specification

HCPC Registration Must have completed Clinical Psychology doctorate training and have some experience of working with children
