The Role

A fabulous careeropportunity for a part qualified to step up as a finance businesspartner to work closely with the leads for each of the core areasof the IT EBusiness and Transformation cost centres. The role isideally suited to an accountant who has experience in supportingoneoff programmes and/or significant ITinvestment.
KeyResponsibilities

  • Timelytracking and analysis of actual spend
  • Timelyand accurate updating of forecastspend
  • Tracking of financial risks andopportunities
  • Prepare monthly managementreporting information for the Technology & Transformation teamensuring reporting reconciles back to underlyingdata
  • Calculate and maintain monthly accrualsand prepayments schedule and post the necessary journals intoOracle.
  • Work with leads to ensure financialrisks and opportunities are tracked at a transactional/vendor leveland appropriately reflected in forecasts and updates to seniorstakeholders through the forecasting toolHubble.
  • Prepare the annual budget and monthlyrolling forecasts in conjunction with T&T Business Partner inFP&A team and various Heads of Department within the Technologyarea
  • Management of POs for Technology &Transformation including liaising with various stakeholders;appropriate coding of POs; managing any extensions to POs againstforecast and approved spend.
  • Be the first pointof contact for any finance queries related to Technology &Transformation
  • Create and manage rechargeschedule; to ensure recharges are raised to BUs each month;coordinate with BU finance teams to ensure they understand and areanticipating therecharge

The SuccessfulApplicant

  • Partqualified ACA/ACCA/IMA
  • Experience of supportingsignificant IT change programmes/capex spend would bedesirable
  • Experience of business partneringacross multiple functions/divisions
  • Oracle orsimilar systems with integratedmodules
  • Excellent Excelskills
  • Ability to produce accuratemodels
  • Attention to detail and ability to doindepth analysis
