Responsibilities- Teach and deliver engaging and inspiring drama lessons to students.
- Develop and implement appropriate lesson plans and teaching strategies.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for students.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback to students on their performances.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate school productions and events.
- Monitor student progress and provide support for their individual needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance and achievements.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
- A degree in drama or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching drama to students of various ages and abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of drama teaching methodologies and techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
