Their Store Managers leadby example making bold decisions and taking action if things arenot working. You will have the passion and leadership skills tomotivate a team of staff encouraging them to bring new ideas and tobuild their knowledge of the client. Great customer service isessential to maximise income as is the sourcing and merchandisingof products and understanding all costeffective income streams withomnichannel and online being priority to deliver our retailproposition.
This position is for 35 hours andincludes weekends on a rota basis. This is an exciting opportunityto support a new store opening and make an instantimpact.
Managing a new store which sells bothdonated stock and a range of new goods you will need to becommercially aware driven well organised and hands on. You willalso have the passion and leadership skills to motivate a team ofstaff in order to maximise profits.
The main responsibilities and duties of the role are asfollows:
- Managing and motivatingstaff
- Making sure that your store or departmentmeets sales targets
- Looking for ways toincrease sales and improve efficiency
- Managingstock levels
- Dealing withtakings
- Recruiting and training newstaff
- Being aware of competitors market trendsand customer expectations
- Ensuring standardsfor quality and customer service
The suitablecandidate:
You will have Store /Assistant Management experience from retail. You will have acommitment to understanding and exceeding the customersexpectations a desire to lead from the front and set an example forall to follow.
