This post is working 36.25 hours per week Monday to Friday.
What you will be doing:- Conducting thorough assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalised support plans.
- Providing 1:1 occupational therapy intervention to support service users in achieving their goals.
- Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team and external partners to ensure holistic care and support.
- Advocating for service users' rights and facilitate access to community resources and services.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with organisational standards.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of services through participation in team meetings and training sessions.
- Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy (or evidence that this qualification is soon to be awarded)
- Registered with HCPC and BAOT (or evidence that registration is soon to be completed)
- Experience working with individuals with mental health difficulties, preferably within a charitable or community-based setting.
- Proficiency in conducting needs assessments, goal planning, and providing 1:1 support.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and with external stakeholders.
- Commitment to promoting recovery-focused and person-centered approaches.
- Understanding of the social determinants of mental health and the importance of advocacy and empowerment.
- Proficiency in IT systems and willingness to adapt to new technologies.
- Experience in delivering group therapy or psychoeducation sessions.
- Familiarity with partnership working and coordination with diverse agencies.
- Understanding of Recovery principles and social care resources.
- Ability to create culturally sensitive approaches and consider holistic needs.
