FY2 (CT1/2 equivalent) Acute Medicine

Eastbourne District General hospital

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is looking to appoint an FY2 (CT1/2 equivalent) doctor to join an enthusiastic forward-looking Acute Medicine Department at Eastbourne District General Hospital.

This role will be based in our Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) unit which runs alongside the Acute Medical Unit.

The Candidate must hold full GMC registration.

Main duties of the job

The purpose of this post will be to deliver acute medical care to patients in the Same Day Emergency Care Unit. The post holder will be responsible for the day to day running of the unit, assisted by the Acute Medical Consultants and SDEC registrar. The post holder will gain valuable experience assessing, diagnosing and treating patients in a fast paced environment.

The job is an ideal environment to assist with gaining the knowledge and clinical skills to achieve MRCP. The Candidate must hold full GMC registration.

The post holder will work through a rolling 4wk rota.
