Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks, ensuring they meet customer specification and application requirements. Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEM) to predict how components and materials behave under different conditions and use this data to inform design decisions. Ideate, prototype, and test new product concepts. Work with application teams and customers in solving problems. Apply knowledge of materials and metallurgy to select appropriate materials for different engineering applications. Participate in the entire product development lifecycle, from concept through to production and application testing. Document all phases of research and development, including writing reports, creating design Qualifications: Bachelors or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field. Proficient in mechanical design, preferably with SolidWorks or similar CAD software. Good understanding and experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEM), preferably Abaqus, and its application in product design. Strong foundation in materials science or metallurgy, particularly as it applies to product development. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome engineering challenges. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate for the position would be adaptable, have passion for innovation/research and a positive, can-do mindset.
